
The organization meets twice a year, in the Spring and Fall. Members bring to the table matters that impact midwifery education in the United States, including growing the number of midwifery graduates annually, the procurement of clinical sites for the training of midwifery students in every region of the country, staying abreast of policy issues that affect the education of midwives and communicating with midwifery education organizations worldwide in the hopes of expanding the profession of midwifery globally.
